Threaded CO2 Cartridges or CO2 Inflator for Bike Tires

The CXWXC CO2 Cartridges are a new standard of threaded CO2 Cartridge, perfect for whether you're going on tough mountain range rides or in need of fast air pressure during hot pursuit racing. With the 16g threaded cartridges, it can fill a large (26" x 1.95") MTB tire to 40psi (2.7bar) in a single shot, which is truly impressive. The CO2 cartridges are much smaller and lighter than a hand pump, easily fitting into a saddle bag or jersey pocket. The cartridges are full of compressed air and can inflate a flat tire in a matter of seconds with little effort. However, please note that you'll more than likely find that your tire will be flat (or well on its way to being flat) within 24 hours because CO2 will leak out of your tire faster than air. Therefore, don't forget to pump it up before your next ride.

Our 3/8-24 sized threads are compatible with all threaded CO2 bike tire inflators. Please note that once the CO2 is released, the cartridge and inflator head will get extremely cold, so it pays to wear gloves or buy CO2 cartridges with protective sleeves to protect your hands. Once you've finished inflating your tire, don't leave the CO2 canister on the side of the road for someone else to pick up. CO2 canisters are RECYCLABLE and one-time use only.

The 16 gram cartridge can inflate a road tire to 100 psi and an MTB tire to approximately 40psi. It's important to note that CO2 gas is 'not' food grade. As this cartridge dispenses its air, it rapidly cools and becomes COLD to the touch; care should be taken, and your hands should be protected when dispensing air.

For safety reasons, never store the cartridges in or near any hot place, such as under direct sunshine, near a heat source, or left in a car. Never use a low-quality CO2 head. Make sure the device has fully punctured the head of the cartridge. If not, or you find that the gas is being released very slowly or the gas is freezing the head, discharge the gas for a few minutes until the bottle is fully empty, then dispose of it properly.
